Bridal Shower Lingerie Cookies

I made these for my cousin’s fiance’s bridal shower over the summer. I love how the gold looked with the hot pink!

I know I’ve said this before, but I LOVE making lingerie cookies. I love to make each one unique and I love to watch people pick out their favorites.

Tea Party Baby Shower Cookies

This soon-to-be mama had a tea party themed baby shower in pink and purple for her little princess.

I made teacups and flowers…

I also made more of the doggies that I made for her wedding. Her poor pup has since passed, but will always and forever be her first baby. He was honored in so many ways at this shower, and I’m thankful I was able to help with one of them. 💕

Flowers as simple as this still seem to make such a cute bold statement!

I’ve been meaning to share this for some time. I got this AMAZING cookie stamp a while back. It gets imprinted on the cookies prior to baking so it’s actually my NAME on the back of each cookie! Such a simple touch that makes such a huge impression.  This baby is due to arrive in the next couple of weeks. Can’t wait to meet her!

Raspberry Champagne Cupcakes

Champagne is for celebrations. With these cupcakes I’m celebrating ME!

(I made these cupcakes for my 3 year work-iversary!)

I followed this recipe by Courtney at Pizzazzerie.

I used this amazing raspberry champagne I bought a while back from a local winery. I’d been saving it for something special and this was perfect!

I also added a little pink food coloring to give them more of a raspberry-feel.

These were SO yummy! You can definitely taste the champagne in the frosting, but it was also in the cupcake itself. Both the cupcake and the frosting were so light and fluffy.

If you have something special to celebrate, or if you just want to celebrate nothing at all – make some champagne cupcakes! Either way they will brighten your day. 🙂

Little Deer Cookies

I can’t believe Gracie is 1!!

Her mama is one of my very best friends. She asked for deer cookies for her little dear’s first birthday party, so I knew I had to make something special!

How cute are these!?

I stuck to a simple design. It felt right. Didn’t want it to be cartoony.

Happy birthday gorgeous girl!!

Tiara and Bow Cookies

My coworker and I were both pregnant together and were due about 3 weeks apart. I made these cookies for her gender reveal party. I was SO excited to find out she was having a little girl, I LOVE to make pink cookies!

Mama is ALL about the pink, fluff, girliest of girly everything. I made her bows and tiaras to go with her princess theme shower.

I love using these bows because they’re little – only about an inch and a half tall. They pair perfectly with almost anything girly!

The tiaras I made from a new cutter. I’ve made princess crowns before (here), but I just loved the shape of this one!

I had these big pink pearls on hand that I thought made the perfect jewel for the tiaras.

And while I knew I wanted them sparkly, I didn’t want them glittery… if that makes sense. Instead of glittery disco dust I decided to go with sanding sugar to give them their sparkle. I started with a pastel pink, but it just wasn’t enough to give it any color. I added a little bit of this bright pink and mixed it together. I love how it turned out! Not overwhelmingly hot pink, but brighter than just a white outline.

Easy Easter Eggs & Bunnies

I have been doing cookies pretty much non-stop since Christmas. Soo I decided to go with an easy design for my Easter cookies.

I absolutely love how they turned out!

I outlined and iced all of them in plain white. This alone saved me so much time!

The bunnies I reoutlined once they were dry, and dipped in rainbow non-pareils.

I normally don’t like bunny cookies but this shape is so adorable and it’s only about 2 1/2 inches tall. Simple yet still festive and fun!

For the eggs I wanted a speckled look. I mixed food coloring with a few drops of lemon juice (normally I’d use vodka but I didn’t have any).

Then used a straight edge paintbrush and a toothpick to “flick” coloring all over the cookies.

I did both pink and blue and I’m kind of obsessed with how cute they are!

Hope everyone has an amazing Easter weekend!

Gender Reveal Party Cookies

My sweet coworker Tiffany is expecting her first baby. She asked me to make her cookies for her gender reveal party. The cookies were not doing the actual “reveal” so they just had to be blue and pink or something creative including both colors.

While racking my brain for ideas, I saw these cookies posted to Instagram. Tiffany LOVED the idea, so I went with it!

They bit into the reveal cupcake to find out that they’re having a girl!

Valentine Owl Cookies

Whoooooo is your valentine?

IMG_8695

Sorry, had to.

But seriously. Owl be your Valentine.

IMG_8696

Okay I’ll stop now. 🙂

I made these cute little love birds for Valentine’s Day. Kept it simple by having only 1 color of outline/detail, and just a couple other colors for them all.

I love the way they turned out! ❤

(Vegan) Elephant & Giraffe Baby Shower Cookies

A girl I went to school with is currently a surrogate, in her 3rd trimester with twin baby girls! Surrogacy is such an amazing thing to be able to do and I love following her story!

She is throwing a baby shower for the parents of her growing little baby girls, and asked me to make her some cookies. Only thing is they had to be vegan! I have to admit the idea stressed me out to have to find/test a recipe and everything, but they ended up working perfectly and taste AMAZING!

The vegan cookie recipe can be found here. The vegan buttercream and vegan icing recipes can be found here.

For the shower I made pink elephants and purple giraffes. Hope the mama and daddy love them!

Fingernail Polish Cookies

HOW CUTE are these?!?

IMG_7997.JPG

A coworker asked me to make these for her friend’s 11 year-old daughter.

I used my wine bottle cookie cutter, and trimmed as necessary.

IMG_7990.JPG

I outlined in all black because it makes the colors pop.

Then just made the brightest funnest (yes I said funnest) colors I could! The white “glare marks” really brought them to life.
