Diamond Cookies

I’ve made diamond cookies a couple times recently, so I figured I would just post them both together!

The first round I did a pale blue with bright white diamond outlines. These were for a 25th birthday party and were paired with rose-gold colored bows. Rose-gold is NOT an easy color to make by the way.

The disco dust is what really makes these amazing!

I first wanted the sparkles on just the outlines, but when I went to brush off the rest (after they were dry) they didn’t look as spectacular. The sparkles might get everywhere when you’re eating the cookie, but they sure look pretty beforehand!

The second round of diamonds I did for a bachelorette party. I thought white-on-white would be perfect for a wedding event. Even though the outline didn’t contrast with the rest of the cookie, they still stood out and looked amazing!

The sparkles are really hard to capture in a photo. That’s why I took so many. 🙂 And because I’m kind of obsessed with them.

When I told the bride I was going to do white-on-white diamonds she said “or even pink would be fine.” I knew I had to make her a pink one after that. Even the pink one looks super cute!

I absolutely LOVE these diamonds. They are a nice big size too, about 3″ across. Perfect for any “fancy” party! (And cute in any color!)
